Why I Can Help

Making a difference is more than a motto for me, it's a way of being.

My Personal Caregiving Journey

I began my caregiving journey at a young age, influenced and groomed by my grandmother, whose compassion and dedication to helping others instilled a deep sense of purpose within me. Growing up as a military brat, with my father serving in the Marines and numerous family members enlisted in every branch of the service except for the Coast Guard, I learned the values of discipline, resilience, and dedication early on.

My first role was in dietary at a small town nursing home, where I quickly realized my passion for supporting the elderly and their families. I advanced my career from a nursing aide to a medication technician, gaining invaluable hands-on experience that shaped my approach to care. As I continued to grow professionally, I expanded my horizons into recruitment, marketing, and program direction within non-medical caregiving services, coupled with administrative roles that allowed me to influence care protocols and improve service delivery.

My diverse experiences across community, hospital, and home settings have equipped me with the skills to adapt to various caregiving environments, ensuring that I can meet the unique needs of each individual I assist. Beyond my professional pursuits, I am also a proud mother of three children, which enhances my understanding of care dynamics and family relationships in health scenarios.

For me, healthcare is more than just a job; it’s a lifestyle fueled by my unwavering dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of others. I am committed to providing compassionate, informed, and holistic care, always striving to create connections that enrich the lives of those I serve.

That's why I chose the dragonfly symbol, which means transformation. I believe that care that cares can be a transformative experience in people's lives.
